Students will gain exposure to the real life challenges facing the healthcare information technology industry, providing support to members, insurance providers, and healthcare marketplaces. Conveniently located on Stony Brook University’s campus and with flexible work schedules, students can balance the demands of their education while gaining valuable experience.



Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Data Entry
  • Problem Solving / Troubling shooting
  • Customer Service
  • Phone Support
  • Providing information and guidance to healthcare enrollees
  • Payment Processing
  • Identification and Escalation of system issues
  • Enrollment exception Handling
Qualifications:

Requirements:
  • 3.0 GPA or higher, STEM related fields preferred
  • Interest in business or healthcare industry

Hours:
  • Minimum of 12 hours weekly, no maximum
  • Start: ASAP
  • End: end of fall semester with ability to work through the winter and/or resume during the Spring Semester
