Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director of Government Solutions, this role is responsible for facilitating the strategic solution selling efforts that are essential to our continued growth and success. Using your leadership skills, technical expertise and detailed knowledge of the Softheon platform, you will partner with Sales leadership and account owners in initial opportunity discovery and qualification, presenting solutions and value proposition to prospects and clients, partner with Marketing on content development and campaign support, while teaming with Product and Client Success teams on pre-sales and post-sales engagements to ensure the right resources are involved at the right time.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
  • Jointly create, manage and execute account plans and opportunity close plans side by side with Sales leadership and account owners, by taking lead on key functional and technical initiatives, be introduced to key functional and technical stakeholders in each account, and create a solution plan according to initiatives and objectives
  • Validate software, workflow, hardware and implementation fit with standard Softheon SaaS, BPaaS solution, develop a high-level gap analysis and initial scope of work
  • Engage Sales in opportunities after forming a clear value proposition alignment and solution pitch plan
  • Attend and present at prospect and customer meetings and internal sessions with other company functions, as necessary
  • Influence buyers on adopting standard Softheon SaaS, BPaaS product offering
  • Focus on upselling while acting as a functional and technical advisor to prospects and customers within remit
  • Work with the Client Success and Product teams to ensure the right personnel are aligned for specific product demos and presales discussions
  • Document new / improved products / innovation within the industry. Influence product development and enhancements using gathered intelligence to enhance internal practices and processes, achieving genuine sales development
  • Identity, qualify and build relationships with potential solution integration partners
  • Understand the healthcare IT “ecosystem” and basics of administrative and financial workflows and transaction processing
  • Work with the Client Success and Product teams to ensure the right personnel are aligned for specific product demos and presales discussions
  • Work with IT, DevOps and Product teams to maintain an on-demand demo platform
  • Work with marketing to develop and maintain a demo video platform
  • Support Sales & Marketing team in RFX responses
  • Understanding of pre-sales solution selling best practice approaches & methodologies
  • Excellent “story telling” presentation and demo delivery style
  • Able to achieve organizational objectives through effective communication, planning, punctuality, resource coordination, decision making, and time management skills
  • Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
  • 2 years of experience in pre-sales/customer-facing/technical roles
  • 2 years of experience in U.S. healthcare industry working with health plans and TPAs as a service provider, software provider or consultant
  • Previous customer-facing experience selling healthcare software, hardware and services
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-moving environment
  • Resourceful, self-motivated & self-driven
  • Passion for the healthcare industry consumerism and digital transformation movements
